Don't bother with Finance. Find an interest free credit card, sign up and buy it on that... then pay it off before your interest free period expires.

Check here: http://www.moneysupermarket.com/credit-cards/purchases/

Then you just need to find the right laptop x

OK, thats seems simple enough, i dont know anything about credit cards as i have been brought up to believe they are the devil.
Am i right in thinking i can set a standing order to auto pay off say 50quid every month? or do i have to remember to do it myself?

You can set up a DD to automatically pay the minimum amount (or a chosen amount, £50 say), avoiding any interest.

12 months from when you sign up mate. Credit cards can be great if you are disciplined enough to not go crazy with them.
