I see Messrs Arbib and Black have both made the top 40 of the Football Rich List, but don't tell Brighton fans that they are both way ahead of their 'loaded' owner, who is estimated to be worth only £50m...

Why not?

He's been playing for the best part of 14 years now. He would have been in a fair whack at Chelsea. I doubt Blackburn, Newcastle and Fulham were paying him peanuts either.

Damien Duff was on £88,000 a week at Chelsea......that was a few years back.

He could also be sensible and understand money of course. Most spend everything they get plus a bit more, some save and invest.

Eddie Irvine, of F1 fame, only earned about £40m, but through property became worth something like 4 times that from what I remember.

Does anybody know where the club combined? didn't the adver print somthing when the club was first taken over making us 4 or 5th richest in the country?
