And it's really saying something about the squad being threadbare when you get an injured CB, drop a RB to CB and bring on another Rab whilst leaving a CB on the bench as cover for CM. Baffling.

I know what you mean, but I think it was more about giving Thompson his chance...he's waited a long time.
