Just had a phone call from the Rac begging me to send breakdown trucks to Glastonbury,people are stuck there for another 24-48 hours waiting to be recovered.

i was on the top left of the map and we were fine. it rained heavily but our field was more or less fine. some people dug little trenches to guide the water away from tents. people who'd pitched in vulnerable fields or stupid places were the only ones affected.

We were high up, we told some people in a valley bit near us not to set up there, because of possible rain damage - they told us they'd be OK! :nuts:

Strangely though in that photo, the ground looks quite high up, inasmuch as it appears to slope away....could of course be an optical illusion..  The camera was probably stoned.
