Confession time. I've never tried tripe. I'm not sure I want to either.

I love trying and cooking new food, but there's something about tripe which really doesn't appeal.

Why's that? All meat is nice - better than that green rabbit food anyway.

One of my old mans favorites is tripe in onion sauce, it really is bad.

Recently tried brain which is just a mushy squishy piece of horribleness

bloody tef is being gay. just stopped working for ages. fix it barry or I will go on strike next barry and ben make love friday.

I like eating animal brains. You get the powers of the animals who's brain you've eaten, at least for a little while, longer if it's a live brain. I murder a prostitute with a brain spoon every time I want to sleep with strangers for money.

I had cold tripe in Argentina. It sounds terrible but in fact it was lovely. You really can't beat your meat.

Tripe has very little taste its more of a consistancy than a taste, it tastes of whatever you serve alongside it usually something onion based, smells like shit when its cooking though, which is highly unpleasant.

  Philipino tripe is decent....

As a kid in 50's austerity Britain, tripe and similar stuff were regulars on the family menu.

You lot had better get used to it in the coming modern day austerity....

I think my parents practiced austerity cooking in the 70s,we had tripe quite often. It was vile.Another favourite was liver, cooked to death dry and nasty.
