The site's periodically getting raped. On a bad day we'll hit about 6-8% of CPU and about 20% of ram. A minute ago we were at 75% ram and 15% CPU. It shouldn't really cause it to fall over, but not knowing enough about it and knowing MySQL can get quite leggy in stressful periods agrees with the error I got a moment ago.
