I feel sorry for Rose, hes had a bad start.

With Sheehan he might never get a chance to recover.

I agree that it's a shame he hasn't got going yet, but we've now played 5 games without a win, and Rose has been a weak link. Something had to be done and I think Danny's made the right move. Presumably Rose will play tonight, so still has another chance to prove his worth.

Has he ever had a spell on the wing? Might be an option as his delivery is far better than AOB's...

Rose has looked very reluctant to go forward. Hes looked very nervous in every game Ive watched him.

I think hes a much better player than weve seen of him, but Im suprised at his lack of bottle.

Sheehan will not be match fit, so probably a few more games for Rose.

Well pleased with this. Best LB we've had in at least a decade, and I'd put him behind only Trollope and Bodin since i've been watching ( unless I've forgotten someone really obvious)

Phil King, also Buzzer played left back for long enough to qualify if I remember correctly.

The only negative side to this signing for me is that i'd have liked Kennedy to have a chance. Would be great to see a product of our youth system make it.

Pleased with this. It now means we don't need any more left sided players at all. Sheehan is a better defender than Rose and i'd imagine that now means Rose will play back up for both Sheehan and AOB is needed. At least Wilson has acted on one of our main weak points. Now for a CB. Obviously it will now have to be a loan but to be quite honest our two CBs have been alright in the last 2 games and bar a mistake at Hartlepool LJF has been pretty good at CB as well. It just misses that leadership.

Sheehan? He played his first game or so at left-mid didn't he?
