Well pleased with this. Best LB we've had in at least a decade, and I'd put him behind only Trollope and Bodin since i've been watching ( unless I've forgotten someone really obvious)

Was Chris Ramsey a left back? I always rated him pretty highly, bit of an animal if I remember correctly.

He was a RB, loved him, he rivalled Shaun Taylor for sheer hardness.

Phil King, also Buzzer played left back for long enough to qualify if I remember correctly.

Yep Kingy was decent, had slipped my mind. Summerbee played either right wingback or right midfield.

Sheehan? He played his first game or so at left-mid didn't he?

Yeah, i was on about Rose, seeing as defending doesnt appear to be his forte...

Rambo is still one of my all time favourite players and the most solid right back I have seen for us, no one passed him without fear of having their legs taken away and being put into touch along with the ball.

Now head of player development at Spurs I think.

edit

yeah, here he is.

I was only thinking the other day, "Hmmm...we need a left back and Sheenan needs a club, pity we bolloxed it up by signing Rose"...but they signed him any way - Fair play Cool

Glad we resigned Sheehan.

Glad the Gow deal fell through- why should we want a Plymouth reject with a poor goalscoring record.

Badly need a CB, striker now if we are to turn our season around.

Good signing. I like Sheehan, even though he seemed a scapegoat at times with some of our fans last season (what is it about left backs being scapegoats??)

This brightened up my day no end. I wonder if Danny is considering playing Rose left mid with Sheehan at full back?

you remember right

I can remember having a long chat with him on the Legends night and I would not even contemplate messing with the bloke (even now)
