Just made the impluse decision to go.  What are people doing for parking?

Im guessing there is no need to do the away fan park and ride thing due to small crowd.

I was considering this as well funnily enough, Wont be finished work til 430 but may get the choo choo to Reading then Soton... is it really worth it though for JPT splashing the cash on British Rail?

If only the Old Town to Andover line had been kept open, could have had services direct to Soton.  Crying

Theres quite a bit of parking around the ground. If you follow the road away from st.marys behind the northam, you will go past a pub. The Joshua Tree?, i think it is, and there is plenty down there, 5-10 minuite walk from the ground.

There used to be a direct train to Southampton every hour from Swindon station just a few years ago. It got scrapped, was never busy enough I guess and it took ages.

Its true, I wanted to finger you.  My left hand was cold and I thought it might warm me up.  The right hand was warm as it was busy with Mex.

wow what a beautiful story!

Bit of a roundabout route these days....the old M and SWR, used to go from Old Town, via Marlborough, Ludgershall to Andover.....more or less due south as the bird flies. back in time for a pint in the Wheatsheaf or Steam.

I'm not completely sure why, but I'm quite liking the idea of going to this now.

I was set on going, until Saturday. Then this afternoon I considered going. I'm quite glad my brother went off with the car so I can't drive down.

Come on Town!

I wouldnt have given us a hope, but with the Pardew situation I think we can do this. We need a good start and press our game on them, test them.

I actually think we'll win this game. Hopefully a win will give us confidence to get the 3 points on Saturday (and to keep Rose and Prutton on the bench!)

Come on Town. Let's hope we can get a win against a Saints side rocked by Pardew's sacking. Good to see Ferry and Kennedy in there.
