Did the person filming not think of stopping her?

I'd have preferred it if the wheelie bin was filled with water. Or acid.

Did it for a joke because she thought it would be funny, apparently. "It's only a cat"

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/7963144/Woman-who-dumped-tabby-in-wheelie-bin-Its-only-a-cat.html

Judging from her reaction (as well as the initial "joke"), I'd suggest she's a bit damaged.

It's only a cat, this furore is ridiculous. Why is no-one asking the question why the owner feels the need to cover his house in CCTV cameras in the first place?

Oh and in other news there's also some floods happening in other parts of the world. I couldn't give a toss about a fucking cat tbh.

P.S. Not a dig at you btw pauld, just fed up at the whole 'isn't disgraceful 'cos it's cute' nonsense in general.

Well said. Everyone knows human beings are the only things that matter on this planet. We're humans so we can do what the fuck we want with anything that isn't and not give a shit.

It's only a cat,

Oh.

That's OK then, it's only a cat. That makes it all perfectly OK.

I can't understand why anyone would act cruelly or violently to any animal, be it a cat or a hamster, or even a spider.

I fucking hate cats, but if I hate a problem with cats crapping in my garden, I'd tackle the fucking owner, not the animal.

No I didn't say that, just a point that there's a distinct lack of perspective. And I wonder if the cat feels guilty for those poor little tweety birds that it kills. No it doesn't.

A lot more people in Britain would be more concerned about the cat and the disgusting behaviour of the woman. No doubt she will be let off because she is female etc. On a personal note cant say i'm overly concerned about the floods.
