Just a general question for General Discuission  Yes

Basically i'm picking my GCSE results up tomorrow, and since the majority of you farts are older than me, i was wondering when applying for jobs, do i need the actual peice of paper with the results, or do a get a seperate certificate posted (I know 100% we don't get any tomorrow.)

Thanks  Wink

So you think you'll get some then?

In my day we got the pieces of paper with the grades on and that was all you needed.

Usually job application forms will have a section where you list your subjects and your grades.

I've only filled out about 3 in my life time but its always been the case. As far as I remember they never asked to see the actual certificates to see if the grades I had put down were anyway truthful.

So, unless you need them for a college/uni corse, you could risk making them up? Sounds promising..  Yes

I've applied for about 15+ jobs this past month, everyone was the same, you just have to list qualifications not prove them with the paper copy.

I've never been asked to prove my qualifications, but it's worth keeping the paper just in case.

I'm seriously impressed if you managed to fail RE.

I nearly failed GCSE RE, but I did tear a load of ankle ligaments about 20 minutes before the exam so my mind was a bit distracted from explaining the five pillars of Islam.

In my school you sit 1 paper in year 10, and 1 in year 11. In my year 10 paper i got something stupid like 18%, and in my year 11 paper i wrote about charlton away in the playoffs as a "Religious Experience"

I'm pretty sure i've failed.
