For those of you claiming offside.......

what about the original pass to the player with the ball?

Well, theres a surprise Smith getting the blame for the goal, it was a bloody good strike and Lucas wouldnt have got it I dont think.

I love the way a load of Brighton fans are coming on here creaming themselves over the fact they beat us. Bless 'em. But i guess it shows how far we've come!

There's still another 45 games to go yet! And like i have said previously, the razorblades will not be coming out to play anytime soon.....Even if we fail to beat H'pool!

Agreed. Don't see what more Smith could have done. It was a great strike from their lad. Not sure where some of our defenders went but LJF had to try and cover 2 people.

To summarise:

We were out of position too often.
The ball spent too long in the air.
X rated tackles went unpunished.
Charlie got the ball on a couple of occasions only for the ref to blow up for a foul.
Brighton picked up the loose ball better than us.
Their fans were mostly quiet (I thought they were supposed to be bringing more too  Hmmm)
It's too early to predict where either side will finish this season.
I might have to go to the return leg now.

Not a Smith fan but i thought he had a very solid game.

I'm not going to bash Smith i don't think he was at fault for the first but i think i may be the only one who doesn't understand why on the 2nd goal he rushes out and just stopped. Don't get me wrong it was a shit goal all round but don't know why he did that tbh.
