Bites the dust I'm afraid on that one. Livi swoop for Swindon target Tierney
June 16, 2005
Scottish Premier League side Livingston have swooped to sign former Irish under-21 defender Paul Tierney from under the noses of Coca-Cola League One side Swindon Town.
Tierney had been targeted by Swindon boss Andy King after catching the eye during a loan spell at Bradford City last season.
However, the Salford-born youngster, who made just one senior appearance for Manchester United, has opted to move north of the border to join former Celtic star Paul Lambert at Almondvale.
Tierney will be playing in the SPL next season after the club escaped a points deduction following their breach of league rules over the signing of Hassan Kachloul earlier this year. |

That's depressing Tierney had the potential to be a class-act at the club. However, I'd like to see Nicholas get his act together and get a run in the side. Technically, with Nicholas and Duke (if he signs) in the squad there is little use for another left back.
