hello chaps

i'm pathetic and have no idea about technology other than the real basics...can anyone suggest a decent but not massively expensive way of me streaming things through my computer (spare room) to my TV (in the living room) please?

ps - any lead would need to be around 5 or 6 metres

pps -  the tv has a hdmi port spare

lots of hugs and kisses in advance

Google or search electronics shops for "15pin to hdmi" or "15pin to scart" cables.

Thats the way i'd do it - but you probably need to check you have a 15 pin port on your pc and then have to run cables to your speakers cause the 15pin will only do the picture.

I'm thinking that rather than running cables something like this would be the way to go

If you have a dvi socket on you pc you can use a standard dvi cable and an adapter for hdmi (or an all in one cable) and there should be no loss in quality
