When I try to load my computer it turns on then starts to load but when it gets to the memory test, where it should count the memory.  It doesn't start to count and just does nothing.

I have replaced RAM, it doesn't do anything.  I have taken out all PCI cards, taken all the RAM out  and the motherboard beeps (I read somewhere that means the MB is fine).

But I have now run out of ideas, any one had a similar problem before?

You could try going into the BIOS and reverting back to the default options. Can you try the memory in another machine? If it definitely isn't faulty I'd say it's either a BIOS setting gone mad or your motherboard's knackered.

Google the beep codes for you make of motherboard. Beeping usually indicates hardware failure.

Continuous beep could either be power supply or even full motherboard failure.
