Part of me wishes that they would. It's doing my nut in.
Sometimes I seem to be able to delete an individual photo but it doesn't show in the recycling bin. They just seem to disappear as though they were never there in the first place.

But when I take out the thumb drive and put it back in again, the photo's are back again.
I think it may be haunted.

Try this
1. Put in your USB stick
2. Right click "My Computer" and select "Manage"
3. Expand "Storage" and go to "Disk Management"
4. Right click your USB drive (i.e DISK X down the bottom) and select "Properties"
5. Select "Policies" tab and select "Optimise for Performance"
6. Click "Ok" to save.
But in the most likelihood, your drive has reached its write limit (i.e. broken)

It's already selected, greyed out and I can't change anything.

I recently purchased a Kingston Datatraveler
Is what I have

Kingston advised me that this sounded like faulty hardware
That settles it then.
Definitely haunted.
