It's nearly here. That time when we get all excited, order in strawberries, cream and pimms sit back and watch the Brits fail at Wimbledon. Again.

I normally like to see Brits do well. But please let that wimpy, public school educated, Oxford toss pot Henman (aka 'tiger' Tim) get knocked out early.

I hate him so much I'd rather see a Canadian in disguise get further.

I was listening to 5Live and some bird who's remit is to try and shake up the tennis in Britain.....was going on about clubs would no longer get funding if they operated a whites only policy.   I was thinking ........bit surprising innit that they've managed to get away with that for so long, but I suppose being the ruling clases at play has its advantages.

 At the end of the interview back in the studio, the show anchor had to point out that the whites only policy....actually meant white clothing, not what the posh bint seemed to imply without the slightest hint of ambiguity.

 Just one of those things.....for a fortnight a year tennis catches the attention of the middle classes......we're crap at it, and completely disorganised in terms of development......then mercifully it disappears, despite being an all year round sport.

 I prefer watching birds play.....to the men, I like the combination of grace and elegance

 Problem is KT a few years back there was a distinct anti perv backlash, when they started wearing those asexual short things under the tennis dresses.

 You do still get a good few cleavage shots though.

Indeed, and the people in charge got nervous about it, so tried to stop all below waist line camera shots being shown - a few still get through though.

Cleavage shots, just as they are waiting to return serve are best.

I'm not normally that fussed about legs on a woman (as long as she has 2 eh Blackcurrant ) but Maria Sharapova has possibly the best set I've ever seen

She is pretty fine.  We have a picture of her up on the wall in the office.  Very nice indeed.

Personally i don't mind tennis.  Used to play it quite a lot and was quite good but I can only really hack the two weeks of Wimbledon and certainly nothing more.
