As he is officially the second coming (first was Dougie) there is a delay as the original donkey that was going triumphantly parade him down Manchester Road has gone to Leeds and we're still looking for a replacement !
You sure it's gone to Leeds, any wildlife in Manchester Road is running a great risk from the natives!

Perhaps we're going to call an afternoon press conference to announce more than 1 signing tomorrow.

It was announced on friday by BBC Radio Swindon that he had passed his medical and will sign after training on Monday

Prutton will be a great addition to our squad. He has goals, bite and experience - just what we lacked last season in midfield. Signing him also sends out a message to other potential STFC players that we're serious about this season.

Hope the townend make up an appropriate 'Gypo' or 'Jesus' song for him Clap

Those cunts at Brighton wanted him as well, which makes it all the sweeter. Glad Fitton told them to fuck off with any ideas about signing Greer as well.

'DAVID Prutton is expected to formally become a Swindon Town player tomorrow afternoon.

The former Leeds United and Southampton midfielder is due to sign on at the club after training with his new teammates on Monday morning.

Prutton underwent a medical in London on Thursday, but Swindon Town were unable to comment on the results of the assessment on Friday afternoon.

However, Danny Wilson's second recruit of the summer is expected to be unveiled to the local media at lunchtime tomorrow.'

I think of him as very much in the mould of Ferry and Douglas, but if he's got Douglas protecting the back 4, he won't have to sit back. Presumably, as he can score the odd goal, and he does have more of an attacking edge to him, will he score a nice number of goals for us?

I think he may because he seems to score a few crackers and both Dougie and Ferry were in great positions to shoot throughout the season, but then decided against it.

He has scored 20 goals in 200 games so don't count on him being a goal scoring midfield maestro
