Yeah but how much did Poxford make out of us in the transfer merry-go-round. There were some ridiculous figures mentioned but I think we got stuffed.

Well football wise i couldnt give a toss about him but i wouldnt wish depresion on anyone and i hope he sorts his life out.
The problem was he was to young when coming to Swindon and he didnt get the right advice.
I understand peoples feelings but i for one wish him the best...theres more to life than football(i think)

Eh ??  He was fucking 23 when he came to Swindon !

He was just always a whinging little mummies boy - and a wanker at that !

I wouldn't wish depression on anyone as I know how harmful it can be - but it doesn't stop me thinking he is a total wanker of the highest order...

Someone who I used to work with in Oxford, and am still in touch with, was mates with this prick since their school days, but he got sick of him eventually & stopped returning his calls etc because he was such an arrogant & unpleasant cunt to be around. He used to shout at taxi drivers "How does it feel to have a million-pound footballer in your taxi? I bet it's the highlight of your sad life." He always said he'll be in trouble when he stops playing football, basically because he never properly grew up & always saw himself as being a superior being to everyone else. He was quite sure that it would hit him like a mallet to the head - and look what happened.

One of the comments below that article goes hand in hand with what my mate used to say, ie what a prize arsehole he was to people when he was out drinking. He pranced about like a little fairy on the pitch, but away from football he was an aggressive drunken oaf.

I loved Beauchamp as a pantomine villain, but people surely cannot have such strong feelings towards a man most of us have never met.  To wish mental illne on anyone is pretty low.  I wish him well.

Just wanted to add that I don't wish this illness on him & I hope he can stay strong. I just thought the personal account from a long-standing friend of his is in all probability related to the Oxford Mail story.

No humour, and not intended to grate, I just dont hate the bloke or wish him harm - much like some other posters in this thread have also said.  Sorry I upset you though.
