Cameron to fly flag of St George over 10 Downing Street! Finally a bit of common sense really, Fuck the PC brigade, fly the flag and be proud!

"For the purposes of this, I am looking at all the benches here and I am sure that everyone in this House, no matter what part of the United Kingdom they come from, will be cheering 'come on England'"

I can say for certain that most of scotland and wales and parts of northern ireland will not be cheering for England.

Cheap win for cameron, but I like it none the less.

Cameron will be eating swan and whipping peasants whilst his fag toasts his crumpets and fellates him as he usually does on a saturday night.  He has no interest in football and any attempt to suggest otherwise is mere affectations.  Fact.  And End of.

A lot of Welsh people do support England in the world cup. It depends on the part of Wales but in South East Wales I'd say the majority do, though a lot of them are originally from England anyway. Personally I always hope to see Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all qualify.

I bet Cameron calls it 'soccer' anyway.  I remember reading that one of his (Camerons) chums at either Oxford or Eton was Firoz Kassam who got mixed up with some non-league outfit a few years back when he built then a absolutely super 3 sided stadium then tied them into a long term agreement with financial penalties so that they couldn't walk away.  I believe he also gets to keep the catering receipts.

Seems they're still exploiting the lumpen proletariat.

That's what makes me laugh. They act all anti-English then when the WC arrives they are suddenly England fans.

Which is why they're insignificant as countries (well a principality in Wales' case) and rely on English money to get by

How is it common sense? It's a token gesture - a bigger statement would be to fly the flag 365 days a year, surely? As we know, in England patriotism is only just tolerable during a summer football tournament involving England!

Meant to say:

I'll be flying it from Bangkok.

As in I'll be flying the flag, not myself.  Whatever, innit.
