Well he's wrong if he does think that.

I'll stand by that and you can all laugh and point if I'm proved wrong.

If he doesn't want to play for us it gives us an opportunity to spend the money on a player who does on say a 3 year deal

Well we don't know if he doesn't want to play for us. Matey boys "inser info" yesterday said he wanted to stay but we accepted the fee anyway. Could be bollards of course.

Huge huge step backwards.

Wilson has said we won't have any new players coming in any time soon.

We now need a captain a leader a rock with experience.

Huge mistakes, fucking livid - thought for once we were going to be a football club and show some balls and tell them to fuck off.

This is why STFC will never progress

Pissed off would be an understatement.

Cunt cunt cunt cunt.

As it stands we are a worse team than last year. Much worse!!

Who next Cuthbert? Douglas - and for fuck sake stop letting our decent fucking players get into the last year of their cunting bastard contract.

Don't even joke about that being our centre back 2!

Totally agree with Dave. But thats the price of failure at Wemblet isn't it.

FFS! Agree with Dave on this (that's how bad it is).

Apparently he decided to leave after some cunt on a forum started a rumour about him punching a disabled lad.

First time I have been properly pissed off with Wilson and Fitton's transfer dealings.

As others have said, I can only assume that Greer wanted to leave. If the fee is only 250k, I can't even hang on to the notion that they have paid over the odds for him.

It does look from Danny's comments about Morrison, as if he will for the CB partnership with Cuthbert with Lecsi as cover, although I can't really see us starting the season with only 3 Centre Backs and hope they will bring someone else in.

Just remember the good times, like fulfilling most football fans dreams by kicking Deon Burton square in his muggy cuntish chest.

P.s I hope Wilson has summat up his sleeve, or we got a fucking ridiculous fee for him.

Fuck about.

250k are you fucking shitting me? Is that it?

A decent play off push like last season probably brings in more cash than that.

This is worse than the time they appointed Malpas.

Anger doesn't describe my feelings. I think it's more where he's gone than who has gone. I believe we can live without him or replace him and as I said earlier in the thread, I consider anything over £200k for a 29 year old centre half with 1 year left good business.

Maybe Lex or Morrison will step up, or maybe we've got a shit hot loan lined up? I'm not worried too much as Wilson et al know more than us, I'm just angry at him going to Shighton and the egg it's left on mine and many others faces. Dented pride. Smiley

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

He must've wanted to leave or they've offered a very good package to him.  I'm sure financial security must start to play on a football player's mind as you approach 30.
