Was just out for a run. Lining up to run past this woman (quite a plump woman) - she half turned round, startled, before promptly running into her own legs and stacking it onto the floor. She was fine, nothing hurt but pride. Possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen though.

Apparently on top of the bonus I will receive this month and undisclosed pay rise I'll get in a couple of months time, I will be 'mentored' by a director in another office to advance my career within my company.
My only worry is I won't get any higher up the ladder unless I perform sexual favours.

Congratulations - sounds very promising, and especially in the current climate, where pay rises are very hard to come by. I've been on the same numerical salary for three years. No bonus, no inflation related rise. Of course, I do work in the public sector, so I do nothing and take everyone's money. My apologies, that rant was unrelated. I did genuinely mean to say congratulations Si Pie. |
