This could probably go on either smile or wind up thread.
There seem to be, over the last 12 months or so, a spate of 'kids' going missing from Barrow and requests for info being shared on Facebook by Cumbria Police. In the majority of cases the attached photograph normally looks remarkably like a mug shot (either that or no one round there takes a photo of their kids), people are getting a bit suspicious about this and suggesting that Cumbria Plod are actually using this to track down naughty people but who knows,
However, we have a classic of the genre today, a lass and lad have gone missing, the lass was announced first to little comment, but now the lad too. There has been much speculation about whether they are together, then some bloke has said he knows the lass, she (who is apparently missing) has now waded in on Facebook (on the Cumbria Plod account!) demanding to know how he knows her and why, at which point now the missing lads mum has steamed in demanding she tell her where her son has gone.
Its bloody bandit county I tells thee....
