I've had a monumentally shit week, for so many reasons. But I don't want to dwell on that. I'd rather pay homage to people that keep their spirits up when the shit is hitting the fan.

I'm thinking of my Nan in particular. She's in her 90s, lost her husband 30 odd years ago, and has lost 3 of her 5 kids but she still keeps her sense of humour.

I spoke to her today after a right old kerfuffle about me being accused of only being interested in money my uncle left. After getting that sorted my Nan said, "I'm glad that's sorted, I'll tell everybody you don't want the money"

I spoke to her a few days ago after my uncle (her son) died. I told her how I was thinking of her because she has lost 3 of her 5 kids - she said she should have had more.

An absolute rock.

Thailand.

It's actually relatively cool here today with very heavy rain, which is probably why it decided to pop in for some shelter.

Low 50's here with a cold North westerly wind at least when the sun comes out again where you are it will warm up!

Nice.... the Swindon to London route, used a chunk of that run, turning off near Hungerford, into Chilton Foliat.  I hoped to have seen the Harris's factory in Calne.
