Whenever I've put people on ignore before it usually doesn't last - they've usually got something inflammatory to say and sometimes you need a little outrage. But I can honestly say these two offer nothing of the sort, so I think this will maintain. A lovely sight to be greeted by. Highly recommend to others fed up with their constant de-railing of threads with their bullshit.

It was quite the eye-opener when I attended the first birthday party with our little un when she was about 6 months old, arrive get offered a brew or a beer, decide in my nativity that probably a brew is a better option at a kids birthday party. Then another dad arrives, takes the beer option and proceeds to have 4-5 during the 1.5 hours we were there.

Haha, not quite sure what i'd do, but if I had my kids with my I wouldn't drink.

I've always found it odd that certain family places offer alcohol. Cotswold Wildlife Park, for example. In the cafe there they offer alcohol. I like a drink as much as anyone, but who thinks "Let's go to Cotswold Wildlife Park and get absolutely shitfaced!"

Seeing the Aussie cricket team completely balls-up an un-balls-up-able winning position. For the second time in a fortnight.

Possibly a bit niche, but Reg will probably like it!

I’ve just eaten a massive semi-healthy meal and as a challenge I’m doing a 4 day fast. Next meal Saturday morning. Wish me luck. Banana

If I skip breakfast I can barely handle the hunger, but 4 days? Fuckin' hell. Keep us updated!

This is something I've been meaning to do for a while. I mostly do a 16:8 daily intermittent fast (i.e. skip breakfast as it used to be known). Have you done any smaller 24 or 48 hour fasts in the past, or just going straight in at 4 days?
