Not sure which thread this should go in but in hindsight, its funny.

Browsing the interweb yesterday and say an absolute bargain for some trainers. Nothing special but they looked nice. Adidas, RRP £100 down to £31.

Turns out when they were released they were being marketed as "the best dad shoe on the market."

I just bough a pair of dad shoes, i'm officially old.

Its ok you not officially old until you buy "slip on" trainers. But the slippery slope is being greased as we speak!

On a similar vein we had curry last night, and this morning the missus announced that as she had had heart burn all night she was getting too old to eat curry.

She's 38!

When are you too old to wear certain clothes? I'm 50 now and I wear a hoodie/sweatshirt, trainers and jeans mostly. Should I now be wearing beige or blue trousers, brown shoes and a cardigan?

Keep going 4D, I'm with you! Although I have various track tops that my missus insists on calling cardies, so I might be half way there already Smiley

I used to eat vindaloo's and Phal's like no ones business. About that age I started getting the same. Most i can do now is a Balti without being up all night with heartburn. It's a right pisser when the wife is still able to knock them down still

On the subject of hot things, has anyone tried these? I swear they are the hottest thing i've ever eaten. I was milliseconds away from throwing them in the bin because eating them was so unpleasant.

I got mine from a local oriental supermarket near me. Their noodle range is insane.

My wife loves them. They're very spicy but the burn doesn't last as long as with other really spicy things. The ones in a black packet that aren't double spicy are nicer.
