Seeing first swallows of the new season today.... probably freshly arrived froim South Africa, via a trans Saharan flight. They can do 200 miles a day...
Those were the lucky ones not to be caught in nets or shot the those Southern Europeans. I hear they eat their babies when times get a bit tough.

Possibly so, but netting to stop birds nesting is becoming very prevalent in the UK so once again we seem intent on abdicating the moral high ground...

Ha ha that is brilliant, the sheer enthusiasm is great. I know nothing about cycling but I'm delighted she won whatever it was, just for that interview Smiley

The fucking faff of trying to buy a $10 domain name from Hostgator and GoDaddy.

Tried to buy through PayPal, I have more than enough in there. They kept asking me to add a credit card to my PayPal account. I already have a card attached but I can't use that without giving my CSV number. I don't know where my card is right now, it's late. Fuck off with the faff.

I have more than enough in my PayPal account. I went online to ask why they want it attached to a cc (which it already is) and read that it's down to security for payments? Security? It's a one-off fucking payment and I'm fucking paying in fucking advance? How much fucking security do you fucking need? Fuck off! I am LITERALLY TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY but you are making it difficult for me. IDIOTS.

This goes in the 'feel good' thread, though, because I bought the domain I wanted elsewhere without the faff. AND for less money. That'll learn them.

Except this was supposed to have happened in the mid-80s and BJ didn't become an MP until 2001.  Hmmm

Of course, could still have been him and Fuzz just got his members mixed up.

Related to this there seems to be a groundswell of his supporters on social media suggesting that his arrest is some sort of covert action by the 'British Secret Police' to quell free speech and whistleblowers...

Those will be the secret police who roll up in a massive white van with POLICE written down the side!

Have a think people,  he may have done the right thing once, he has since spent years collaborating with Putin, rimming the alt-right, and getting fascists elected. If he needs help, let him ask his buddy in the White House for a pardon, I think he owes him a favour.

and even that’s a matter of opinion!

Probably makes my opinion of him fairly clear.
