A 10% pay rise from a client for no reason other than I'm fucking awesome. (His words, not mine).

It's a very small difference when spread over all my jobs, but it's still a nice message to wake up to.

Rediscovering the majestic Budgie. First band I ever saw live and forgotten about, rediscovered a couple of tracks and now got their 3 MCA albums for less than a tenner. Very good band but probably around at the wrong time.

Nice to hear that comrade Corbyn has tweeted his warmest wishes to the happy royal couple on the arrival of the fifth in line to the throne. Ok, so it was through gritted teeth and the warmth was a Siberian chill but hey it’s the thought that counts. Well that and the thought he has to bow to them and swear allegiance

Abolition of the Monarchy has never been Labour policy, even though there are individuals within the party who favour it of whom Corbyn is one.

It wsn't even in the 83 manifesto, but abolition of the House of Lords was.  Personally once the queen goes, I think there should be a serious debate about whether we want to continue with this.

I'd like to see Jurgen Klopp as president

Nah they can just force another vote 40 years after the one they lost and when they win tell everyone to get over it without a hint of irony!  Head Hurts

Interestingly in the 83 Labour manifesto, withdrawal from the EU was the policy option offered.  Thatcher offered continuation of the European project, leading to her signing the Single European Act, which paved the way for the Single Market and Custom's Union

Been looking for a new electric shower and came across this on a review site. I love typos:

Did you manage to find the right electric shower for you? Since you mentioned you don’t have an integral pimp, I highly recommend the Triton Seville or the Mira Sport Max.
