Neil Warnock getting a bit confused about where Cardiff is...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42854590

Their game plan did seem to mainly consist of trying to kick City off the pitch.

Fuck about - that's the first I've seen of that. The bloke was lucky not to end up like David Busst with his foot being planted like that at the point of contact... No

Warnock's defending the indefensible - what a knob.

I think Sane got lucky in that his ankle turned over and took the pressure rather than his lower leg. It was a fucking horrendous tackle, glad to see the player eventually got sent off later (only realised that from this story as we stopped watching at half time), as this in itself should have been a straight red.

First I have seen or heard of that too, that tackle is totally indefensible, 2 excellent goals in there too, the free kick is one of the cleverest I have seen for years, the wall was always going to jump and to hit with such power so low is a great technique.

This is about 1 mile from my house, can't say I have seen anything remotely like a UFO there in the many hundreds of times I have driven past it!

I have a feeling its the ghost of Mr Blobby rising up from the ruins of Blobbyland which used to be on that site in the 90s!

Reading that you'd think the good people of South Somerset had completely lost their senses.

Then I checked the MP to find an Australian Tory hedge fund company owner, who operates in the in the far and middle  east. Who's also a Brexiteer, saying he wants the best deal for the locals.

So after all those years of decent Liberals like Paddy Ashdown, perhaps they have.

Cricket St Thomas was also used in the To The Manor Born series....  I never got it, fine acting but terrible writing.  It was one of those things which seemed to say something about the state of the nation, probably Thatcherite, but I couldn't see it.

Yes the outside of CstT was used in the series I don't think any of the other filming was done there though, its now a Warner hotel full of loads of oldies.
