Seeing a grass snake....years since I've seen one. It didn't like the look of me and slithered off pdq.

This was backed up by sighting a hummingbird hawk moth. These are fairly amazing things, apparently looking to colonise GB due to global warming. They've come in from the continent...the Tories have said they can stay as long as they carry an ID card.

If my old man is to be believed Swindon was full of grass snakes when he was growing up in the 40's and 50's, used to take them into school apparently.

I said it's a long time ago I saw one, probably early 60's. They eat amphibia, and over the years many potential habitats have been drained/filled in and built over around Swindon. I've seen more adders down the years. You can still find the odd slow worm locally, and lizards if you head down to say the New Forest or Dorset. Never seen a smooth snake.

I predict you will win on pens sparking a national wankathon and calls for Boothroyd to be knighted.
In all seriousness though, is this the tournament where the strange penalty system is in use?
