Well for one thing it's not in a jovial song form directed at the German people and accompanied by nazi salutes  Hmmm

I've read nothing about PdC style salutes....rather JAF style aeroplanes.  Anyway just wondered, so the anti-German thing is acceptable as long as it's in the right context?

Celebrating standing up to a tyrant in the right context is fine, mocking the existing nation based upon the actions of forefathers in their own country as if they all hold those beliefs today, probably not.  But you know that don't you, you slave trading indigenous people genocoding rascal Reg.

I'm trying to form an opinion, hence asking the question.

nicked from the Grauniad comments - made I larf

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have therefore raised their security level from “Miffed” to “Peeved.”

Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to “Irritated” or even “A Bit Cross.” The English have not been “A Bit Cross” since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from “Tiresome” to “A Bloody Nuisance.” The last time the British issued a “Bloody Nuisance” warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada.

The Scots have raised their threat level from “Pissed Off” to “Let’s get the Bastards.” They don’t have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years.

I got a substantial pay rise today which has been backdated to the start of the year and will be paid in tomorrow's pay. Very welcome, as my credit card has been hammered over the lat two months
