Ran over a Pigeon today and actually heard it pop.

And this made you feel good?

If you saw it once then surely you did know?

Poor wording, I didn't know that happened until I saw/heard one. Not a pleasant experience

We have 3 small crab apple trees at the front that have gone nuts this year.  I expect the unusually wet spell in mid July helped as well.

Grrrrr I have an autistic boy in my class that keeps  feasting on the crab apples and elderberries that grow on the trees around the school field (he loves sour tastes and food in general) but then they obviously go straight through him and he spends the afternoon farting like a trooper!!

I hope you've pointed out to him to not eat things like Belladonna (deadly nightshade) which grows quite commonly on waste patches around about, and has attractive berries.

Yes!! He ate some weird unknown berries last year but he has the constitution of an Ox - I battle with him every day about eating stuff off trees But you can't argue with Alfie - he's mind blind so in his eyes he's always right!
My other favourite thing is picking scabs and eating them - "skin is infinite food" apparently
