Not a great golf fan but always like to see David Howell do well. Hopefully he can have a good round tomorrow and win his first title in ages.

Waking up not remembering the journey home, it being made clear you were "too drunk and annoying last night", being painfully minging and the bird you're with disappearing and coming back later with McMuffins like some sort of gift from heaven - this is what love is, surely? Winner.

Sounds similar to my husband's behaviour last night,   although I'm certainly not rushing out buying him a McDonalds.  He can flaming well suffer as far as I'm concerned. I assume it was your female companion who told you that you were too drunk and annoying?

I wish he had then I wouldn't have been woken up when he came in and then kept awake for an hour or so while he dropped food all over the kitched, attempted to clean it up and then talked loudly on his phone to his mate.  I don't imagine any woman in her right mind would have been remotely interested in a rather large man who was unable to stand up straight or string more than a couple of words together!

Tbf he's cleaned the mess in the kitchen,  helped our oldest with his homework and then taken him out to Fairford for a few hours.
