It’s the only way to eat it, mate. Crispy bacon with a bit of brown sauce in a nice roll. Lovely.

Smoked bacon with crispy rind all the way. There's no argument. Agree with Quaggy on the brown sauce too.

Sitting outside these days without any planes going past every 30 seconds really makes you appreciate the sounds of the birds. We have a couple of robins that often come and say hello. Cracking birds.

These 'super groups' are providing an interesting distraction.

When you discover connections between two things that you know of but had no idea at all were related.

Specifically today, I've discovered that the parody song London Underground (a schoolyard classic) was recorded by Adam Kay, the same guy who wrote This Is Going to Hurt.

I shall be telling everyone I meet for the next several days this fact, I suspect. Which will probably just be my wife, in present circumstances.

I'm sure I knew that from somewhere. I thought it was in the intro or final pages of the book, but having just checked apparently it isn't.

Good book though. All very funny in a "yes, our health service is really like this" way. And then you read the final chapter and it's like "holy fuck, I was expecting this to be another funny one".

Like finding out a couple of days ago that Erinsborough is a loose anagram of neighbours. I feel that its fairly obvious but something I have never noticed before!

During lockdown the Graun have been doing an online quiz featuring UK Art Galleries. I idly mused I wonder if Bath Road will get in.... here it is  Smiley
