Just had somebody try to school me on running my business because I wouldn't do something he specifically wanted (which involved me doing more work for free).
That went well for him.

Didn't seem to be anywhere else relevant to put this but it made me smile.
Wasn't aware that Roberto Firmino made his Liverpool debut at the good old CG....

Yeah IIRC the Adver made a big thing about it at the time. Decent line up from Liverpool back then for a pre season friendly too. Future England player Alexander-Arnold also played a year before his full debut for Liverpool that day too.

Didn't Willian make his Chelsea bow at our place as well, recall comments suggesting he wasn't very good.

And didn't we injure De Bruyne for most of the next season? Who was responsible for that tackle?

He made his British debut/starting debut against us but he made his Chelsea debut a week before in Europe coming off the bench.

Less said about our line up the better http://www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk/MatchCentre.asp?Friendly=YES&MatchID=2016997000I assume we only got the game because of the Anton/Brendon link?

Don't think so as Chelsea flogged him to Wolfsburg in that January after we had played Chelsea in the September?

I was at that game. IIRC correctly we lost 1-0 and Sheyi Ojo scored the only goal (think Vigs made a good save and it looked like the ball was going over the bar but looped in).
If that's correct its amazing what I can remember sometimes and how my memory is appalling at other times!

We lost 2-1 but Ojo did score the winner, the save was Benteke goal, I think that Vigs clattered either Firmino or Can making a save as well
