Is it a genuine problem, or a perceived one majorly bigged up by the media to provoke outrage.

As an example, my missus used to work for the CAB and they used to get a lot of missives about not putting Christmas decs up etc as it might cause offence, however without exception all of her non Christian colleagues and clients thought it was ridiculous that they didn't have the decorations up and thought the British were frankly a bit thick not to engage with other festivals and religions as it would give more chances to celebrate and maybe have time off work.

Its like the stream of perceived poppy bollocks that social media was full of a few weeks back. .

I heard her interviewed on the radio yesterday and she was at pains to point out that that wasn't entirely true (that no-one helped), several other people intervened to help her out but it wasn't filmed because one of the people who helped her out was the bloke who had been filming up till that point
