Being local to Pompey it seems that the issue is that he won't let the supporters trust retain a small share of the club.

Now bear in mind what they went through in order to still have a club that's got to be a massive wrench for them. Plus all the trust issues they must have after the fake sheikhs etc.

It's a wrench for them, sure. It's a gamble to sell, and the fact that the new guy wants complete control would suggest, maybe, there's thing up his sleeve that wouldn't get passed without complete control. I'd be surprised if it went through.

Having to do lots of scanning and being fucked off with my the speed of my scanner, I rolled the dice and got an old second hand "as new" Canon DR2580C feed scanner on eBay and it scans at about 50 pages a minute - it's fucking amazing. Best purchase ever.

Finally completing on a house today.  After 8 months of being 7 miles outside of 'nam where the girls go to school, we're back.  No more doing up to 5 trips in and out of town a day!

When buying my 2nd DSLR I opted for ebay instead of going all out on a brand spanker! Foolishly for some reason, I didn't ask the seller for the shutter count. I'd already committed to buy so I was sweating that a may have purchased a 100k plus shutter count (think buying a car without knowing the mileage, only to find it's done 180k. Bit silly.)

Anyway, to my delight it arrived, I charged it up, popped my SD card in, took a shot and checked the shutter review and it was at just under 5k. Delightful* Smiley

Naa, this was a classic "kit" buy. The owner had clearly liked the idea of buying a camera. Paid over the odds at Jessops and then duly got bored so ebayed it to recoup some cash/sanity.
