Absolutely this.

I have never been able to give blood due to the cancer and then I won't be able to after due to all the tablets I am on but I really would.

When I had my spine operation 10 years ago I had a near full blood transfusion that saved my life, for those that do give blood I truly salute you all, please keep it up.

Used to do it regularly and felt that at least I was doing some good, although the biscuits had gone downhill in recent years, sadly they won't have me anymore which is a shame.

The little exchange between Piers Morgan and JK Rowling brightened what was otherwise a comparatively mundane weekend...

I've re-followed him to start sending him abuse again. It's therapeutic.

If Swindon Borough Council did that on the County Ground pitch, the trees would beat our lot.  Smiley

TBF SBC are more incompetent than our management team. If they planted trees on the CG they'd just die.  I think it was about 20 years ago, that SBC tried to replace the avenue of oaks that led into The Lawns, which rightly needed replacing. So far nothing has grown  Sad

Am I imagining it or were trees (or something) planted on the CG pitch during the war, I seem to recall in Dick M's book? Reg do you remember seeing trees on the pitch?

No trees but there were POW huts:

The War Department took over the ground in 1940, where for a while POWs were housed in huts placed on the pitch. For this the club received compensation of £4,570 in 1945.[2]

A woman shouted at me earlier. She called me a pathetic slag. Then she stormed off and walked into a door.

It was totally Mexico.
