There seems to be a concerted effort to take the UK back to the dark ages at the moment, I assume this just forms part of this, it will be bear baiting and cock fighting next  Wink

It was the Tolpuddle Festival this last weekend....the logic of Brexit is the transportation of trade unionists to te penal colonies...so yes.

A friend of mine actually plays for Minnesota United.

He was a little bit embarrassed, to say the least.

I loved their early 90s kit that this clearly is influenced by. Top job!

We should bring back the green and white triangled kit and make that our 3rd kit.

Nice walk today that Reg would probably enjoy.

Ashbury up to Uffington white horse past Wayland Smithy. Over Blowingstone then down into Upper Lambourn. Up to Ashdown Park and past Alfred's Castle before heading back to Ashbury.

Now refueling the weary legs with pizza and Kronenbourg.

Smiley Nice little 10 miler there.  Lovely day for it.  Did you check out the Lambourn 7 barrows?  I was chatting to a mate in the week about the merits of Alfred's Castle...as a place where you could pretty much guarantee not seeing anybody. The last time I was up there, must have been 1999ish, when I pedaled up to an archaeological dig being undertaken by Oxford Uni.

If you're in any way interested in such stuff, this is an amazing resource.....

I think it was more like 14 miles, very warm, but yes a nice day for it.

We did walk past the Seven Barrows, up the back of Henderson's place by the gallops.

The wife needed to get the miles in, she's off to the Pyrenees in September.
