I've been alcohol-free for 3 weeks now.

I honestly thought I'd somehow feel better or different if you will.

All that's happened is Mrs Audrey drinks and I drive her now.

I suppose it's not really a craving, but she's never ever said "I really fancy a fry up" before, so might be pregnancy related.

We got a really good deal today in Mamas & Papas on a three piece nursery furniture set, cot bed mattress, car seat, baby car seat, isofix car seat base, all for just under a grand, worked out less than half price.

That sounds like a great deal? When are you due?

Alcohol is a necessity at the moment given how badly we are playing. Have you given up permanently?

My mate has been craving Big Macs and her fella cycled down to McDonalds to get one for her.. She just burst into tears when he came back with one. He couldn't stop her crying and kept saying "it's only a burger"

I love them both but I don't envy either of em..

When my mrs was pregnant she burst into tears in BHS while trying to buy new bras. She was sad about her tits being too big Smiley

James Naughtie interviewing Ed Miliband on the Today Programme this morning.  He was pressing Miliband to give an opinion on Corbyn's leadership and the direction of the Labour Party since he moved on.  Miliband, understandably, was being typically evasive.

Miliband: 'Look, I do not want to sit here as a back seat driver.'
Naughtie: 'To be fair, that would be rather difficult since you crashed the car.'

Good line, JN.   Grin

I had dinner in Los Gatos last night, which is enough to make one smile anyway.

As we left I noticed a certain Flammable Ben at the end of the bar, looking well groomed, doing some sort of paperwork and looking fairly officious. How times change.
