My lad came home from school absolutely buzzing yesterday because they'd had a visit from Toffolo and SSP, he and all his mates were really excited by it, and he got his shirt signed. Think the Trust organised it, fair play to whoever did because this is exactly the way to get fans of the future want to know about the club. Really nice to see/hear kids so excited about Swindon Town.

And this was followed up with an email offering discount tickets to the Notts County game, again via the Trust. Brilliant work, gents!
And last night at his Football in the Community Dev Centre training, Jordan Turnbull and George Barker turned up, got his boots signed and photo with Turnbull, he was absolutely over the moon. Players are really putting the effort in with community/kids engagement at the moment, brilliant work.

Was George Barker sat in the corner on his own waiting for someone, anyone, to come over and talk to him?

Swindon being an answer on Pointless (winners of league cup) - 1 point

Poxford was (and are) pointless.

David Squires' thing in today's Guardian, has a similar theme....

Oh, am I supposed to acknowledge the Washbag, here also or will the Guardian do?

Good to see the 82ers are already planning for life in the Premiership.

I've just noticed that 'God' on twitter has nearly 2 million followers. Yet he is only following 1 (one) person himself.

And that person is Justin Bieber.

Secondary school offer day today. The lad got a place at the school he wanted, which isn't the local one, so he's happy!

Civ 5 really gobbles up the RAM and can overheat your processor if playing on a lappy - my old lappy with an i3 processor can't cope with it.
