Didn't expect to read all that, or like it, but that was superb and engrossing. I'll be buying his book to finally read something with an opinion not based around voting red or blue (or yellow or green or purple).
Been reading The Road to Wigan Pier this week (cos I'm dull like that) and this makes a very interesting contrast.  The key will be to see how to take it further and get listened to by the mainstream as I imagine the media (I haven't read part 2 yet) will just portray it as a shallow Knob babbling on.

Or a very cynical way to sell more mince pies... Not sure that commemorating a bloody tragedy is best done by a supermarket advert...
I honest don't know what I think about this, the sentimental fool in me thinks it's good to make people aware of the history etc. The person with the history training and cynic says that it's a multi national corporation using history to sell Christmas tat?

Greece 0 - 1 Faroe Islands.  Nothing against Greece, but always enjoy an underdog victory.  Especially by a team many think should have pre-qualify because they always lose.

Listening to the Town game, hearing us win, coming home to find a beer in the fridge, sitting down with it, turning the TV on to see england playing, then sitting back and enjoying the beer while watching come dine with me.

The picture of Harry toffolo cheering Wade Elliot's sending off.

Normally this would annoy me as it's pretty unprofessional but hey ho!

There was one a few weeks ago of one of the Thompson brothers giving a wry grin after an opposition player was sent off (Or something like that). Whatever it was, it would annoy me if I were a Swindon fan but I am, so fuck it.  Grin

Fair play to the Lirchtensteiners, but San Marino had lost their previous 60 odd games.
