The footnote on this article which is generally much ado about nothing.

http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/11445375.Schoolboy_has_football_Blues/

I read the article....as you say much ado about nothing....however it did make me think of how the last Labour Government wanted to introduce identity cards, an idea which was generally frowned upon, but struck me that despite the civil liberty issues raised, had practical benefits.

Given that the UK/US industrial military complex already has the ability to monitor our phones/e-mails etc what great difference would it make?

This story. Come on, own up, it's got to be one of you, who was it?

Ha. Liked this comment "Although we are satisfied we have the right suspect ", as if they'd narrowed him down from the bevy of suspender-wearing white van men in Malmesbury. Even if it does seem to be a hotbed of monosexual activity:

Quote
Sgt Alvis was also keen to state that there was no link with this male and the male who exposed himself earlier in the year in a Malmesbury charity shop.

Heard today that the good weather will be with us until end of November.

Excellent - if true

Had to drive to Barry (The one in Glamorgan, not the fat one from Eastenders) today.

Due to The Nato summit there were police everywhere, from the Severn crossing all the way to my eventual destination (Which was quite close to Cardiff International Airport). I even spotted a police van from Cumbria!

I'm off out now on the rob. All the filth are in Wales!

Yeah, if you want to go nick something in Bath then this week's the time to do it, there must have been 15 vans/minibuses full of policemen leaving there the other day.

Apparently, that was why he chose that day in particular. "Make sure that wanker Honkytonk's not around" were the specific instructions he gave the secret service.

What can I say, we disagree on a couple of things. It's not my fault he's such a whiny bitch about it.

Went into the new Tesco yesterday for first time - what a fucking mess. What was a pile of shite has had shitloads of money spent on it and its a bigger pile of shite - a bit like Lansdown and the Salve Traders. Don't think I'll be going back there in a hurry.
