Absolutely. Although we all know The King's Arms is like shooting fish in a barrel, but you don't always want to know exactly what you've caught.

You get a better class of lady in the Kings  Smiley  Now the Lava Lounge....

Minesweeping is a fairly old term well used in the 70s and something I was known to indulge in at the time - usually alongside a game of spoof
Yep, minesweeping was a frequent pastime for me and my mates in the early 80s as well, as we tried to make that teenage Saturday job money stretch that little bit further (i.e. much beyond the first round, really)

At the rate they are going, they are going to emulate what they did a few years ago...be top at Christmas but finish outside the play-offs on the last day.

The peppered beef medallions I bought from Asda (yes, I know) tonight. Two minutes either side in a ridiculously hot frying pan followed by a slosh of ignited brandy and then a glug of double cream. Accompanied by dauphinois potatoes, slightly crunchy green beans and chestnut mushrooms gently fried in butter.

Cholesterol friendly - NOT. Yum factor 50 - YES.

Actually sounds decent apart from the dauphinois potatoes which are just pretentious mash with onions.

Got back from Rome yesterday morning, amazing place. You have to be on your toes a bit as people always try and sell you shit, and Italians are absolutely nuts, but we had a quality time. Wore a Swindon jacket out one day and some bloke approached me banging on about Di Canio and Raffa De Vita, who he used to play football with!

Would definitely reccomend it to anyone that hasn't been!

I thought I'd been in a decent mood recently. My wifes shreds wouldn't fit and I can't stand Queen and hoovering is for the wife so its unlikely to happen ................unless my wife tells me to do it.
