No idea. Had a ‘thing’ on my arm, when to my GP, she had a look and said she’d book me a rapid suspected skin cancer appointment.

Doubt it. Some people just really want to go to places like that, and for some the danger adds an extra edge. A related thing that used to annoy me was older travellers always telling me they'd been to Afghanistan in the 60's or 70's, and that it was really safe then. What were you doing there? My old neighbour was stationed there, in the 50's I think. He said they used to drop pamphlets on the warring tribes telling them to stop or they'd bomb them, when in reality they didn't have the capability. |
