For all of the right's gibbering about "lefty" BBC bias,

I think that ship rather sailed when it emerged that the new DG is a former Tory election candidate and party chair?

Grimes, btw, is the chairman of the "Defund the BBC" campaign. The BBC seem to be actively conniving in their own destruction.

Is he, I thought it was another guy.... https://zelo-street.blogspot.com/2020/07/defund-bbc-grifting-alert.html

I should be balls deep in my wife by now but my son refuses to sleep.

The tool. I will be getting revenge when he's older.

You old romantic you.

It's my romantic nature that led to us having a son in the first place.

You're up late FH  Smiley

I'm always awake at this time on a Saturday. Only I'm usually doing something rather a lot more interesting than talking to you lot.

Alas, my boy seems determined to spoil my fun tonight.

Feel your pain FH. They're not kids, they're tiny cock-blockers.

Oh come on. Who among us, hand on heart, can honestly say they have not at some time or another while wearing a court-mandated GPS tag, inadvertently set fire to our own trousers and so accidentally melted said tag in the subsequent conflagration? Happens all the time.

Peoples mental health is being shot to shit by lockdown, with hospitals not having the capacity to deal with it, me neighbour is a mental health nurse and they are very concerned what is going to come out when things ease a bit. Is the incident in Reading still being treated as terrorism, similarly what happened in Glasgow.

The one in Glasgow never was. Not by the police, it was misreported as such by some of the press, egged on by the likes of Farage. Equally, just because someone has mental health issues doesn't mean that they don't commit acts of terrorism. Terrorism is defined as an extra-judicial act of violence (or threats thereof) designed to achieve a political aim. The perpetrator may have mental health issues, they may not.
