We need more good old British repressed feelings!

If only my stiff upper lip would move south a bit!

I'm definitely stiff upper lip.  I do know 3 or 4 women, who like to make a fuss when they see me, wanting slobbering verging on tongues, which is bit offputting.

In most of my family it is very much a hug/embrace followed by the double peck. With the fellas it is similar except handshake then embrace.

It all depends on the relationship and or time passed since seeing said relative. We just met up with a bunch of relatives from Australia (whom some had not seen for around 8-10yrs), so there was a lot of hugs followed by cheek pecks and of course several tears. Not sure if we have a Catholic bloodline at all but we have a pretty huge family on my Ma's side and the turn out to most family events is pretty high - she's 1 of 9...7 of which all have offspring.

Games that are called off an hour before kick off,    If à  pitch is frozen at 18.30 it must have been frozen at 15.00.   If I was a travelling Leicester fan I'd be livid.  Newport fans probably not too happy either,  I know I am always at a ground 2-3 hours before kick off in order to have a drink. Majority of fans must have been at the ground before finding out.

I'm helping a friend find a new car for around £4k and I'm shocked by the number of cars - seems around 80% so far - that don't have full service history.

Many have had 3 services while under warranty and then maybe 1 or 2 over the course of their lives. Do people spend £4k on a 6 year old car with almost no service history and 70k on the clock? Perhaps it's me, but I find it utterly mental that people buy them. It's also equally mental that the previous owners shell money out on a car and then don't service it.

No everyone is savvy about cars. They don't always think to look at things like FSH. A lot people don't even know you can check MOT history online these days. I

True, my missus's car got binned about a year ago and she'd never serviced it in the 6 years she'd owned it. She thought an MOT was enough.

Noticed that dealers like saying, "great service history", "superb service history" and crap like that too. Suppose a few services is better than none.

I guess its room for negotiation too, if you have a 6 year old car that's done 100k miles with no service then i wouldn't touch it with a barge poll, but if its missed an interim here of there, then try and knock a couple of quid off it and take a punt.

Our fan's embarrassing stalking of Doyle's Mrs on twitter has to stop.

She mentioned something about being on Queen's Drive, so they get all excited.

There's more than on Queen's Drive in the bleedin' country you fucking dimwits. There's even one in Liverpool. Which is where she lives.
