On a social media theme - I use twitter a lot for work stuff (incredible amount of teaching stuff on twitter) and I've reached the conclusion now that all American teachers have to be muted. They're so preachy. Evangelical.

American.

Here's an interesting piece about the growing influence of Faith Schools driven by the Tory right wing, no doubt part of the drive to align us as de facto 51st State on Brexit.

The latest mass shooting in the States - the 246th this year! Mind boggling, that.

How do you put the genie back in the bottle?

They clearly need more guns.

The fact BBC iPlayer insists on me having Flash on my computer to play videos, yet mobiles and tablets can play it no problem and don't have Flash. Flash really shouldn't be being used in this day and age.

We have put an expensive item on gumtree and someone interested. They said they can paypal the money, then arrange collection. They say the delivery won't be tracked.

Got to be a scam?

100%

With things like gum tree, anything other than cash on collection is a massive no no.

People that crave Facebook attention and being told how wonderful they are by the same few saddos daily, yet in reality they are selfish cunts who in life offer fuck all no nobody.
Actions speak louder than words. Especially empty Facebook ones.

You OK hun?

But with a tracked delivery and via paypal all should be ok?

They are refusing to budge on tracked so it's a no go. But their emails are also in broken english. Poor grammar. They keep saying all will be fine. They now prefer email contact instead via gumtree.

Blatantly upto something.
