Huh? Wrong quote, in other thread I guess?

I assume you mean "bosses wife" and not "wife's boss"?  If the latter then yeah that would be pretty odd as I wouldn't be have any link (employment wise) to "my wife's boss". The former though, yes may seem odd but as he is my boss...he's got his wife to do the dirty work/awkward part because he seemingly has undergone some recent castration? Smiley

I assume you were not contracted in this employment position?

This raises the interesting prospect that Mrs Flitcroft DM'd Vigs to tell him he was being sent on loan to Waterford Smiley

I assume you were not contracted in this employment position?

Had just recently signed a temporary contract (which I questioned my boss about, RE: About having at least some short-mid term security). He gave me assurances that there was an increasing workflow and excess orders coming in (so not to worry about the "temporary" part, yeah I know) so would be a rolling month-to-month basis at the minimum. Basically hinted there was enough to keep ticking over.

Two long term staff have also recently left, meaning there would naturally be more work to do anyway. To top it off, his superior was only talking to me a week ago about sorting out getting me on a permanent contract. So it's all a bit bizarre. My sister is a HR Director but with me signing a temporary contract, I know that they can pretty much dispose as per the business needs (even if the action is opposite to the business needs currently).

It's not the being let go, it's the balless way it's been done. No one wants to be responsible for the actions any more.

People who pick at left over good from meetings. You have no idea who has touched those stale sandwiches you greedy fucks.
Wherever you go, where food has been prepped by someone other than your self comes with the same risk.

I have no shame, i'll pick at leftovers like i've not eaten for a week. Can't beat some free grub.

I’m trying to pay my Greek electricity bill on line. €78 for 3 weeks. They use your electric bill to also collect a raft of other taxes.

Yikes!

When I have a tube of something like toothpaste, lotion, whatever, I like to squeeze it from the bottom and gently fold up the end as I go.

Only for some bellend to come along and squeeze it right in the middle.

Not so trivial and very annoying.

When a bosses Mrs 'texts' you to essentially say you're no longer required. The text part isn't so much an issue but I wish the bloke had the balls to, at the minimum, message me himself.

Upside is, I can focus on other stuff and if that's how a place treats pretty much new employees then they probably aren't worth working for anyway. It's not a huge problem, although was bringing in some extra cash but still...

Cowardly cunts!

The management meeting might have gone something like this.

"So what about the new guy who talks a lot?"

<less than a minute later>

"So, how do we tell him and who is going to do it?"

Best to shake the dust from your feet and move on.
Plenty of better opportunities out there.

All employers are cunts until they demonstrate otherwise.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
Crap!

Haha, nice one Wobbly! By the lack of structure, I doubt any MM took place. More likely M&Ms though.
