My best mate Jim passed away today in Sweden aged only 46 of cancer.

We met at university, he was an Oxford fan and we didn’t talk to each other for 6 months because of that.
We became best mates however and I was fortunate enough to visit him in a Swedish hospice a few days ago.
I wore my town scarf and as I tried to drape it over his bed he said”keep that shit away from me” Smiley

RIP me old scummer

That sounds crazy close to the 32bit interger overflow limit. Reckon a variable is ticking over the edge and wrapping round. 0x7fffffff (2147483647), 0x80000000 (-2147483648).

If you spend money quicker than you make it you might be able to send it back the other way.

Jesus, that's an incredible thing to notice.  Clap

It's funny because it does actually flit to both the positive and negative seemingly at random. I did realise that selling a player for a huge amount of money, did initially cause the issue. But not selling him just seemed to delay the inevitable and it still happens.

I guess I'll just have to buy a few players for a few hundred million off of some obscure foreign clubs. Sad

There'll be a related problem in 2038 when the old fassioned way of storing time in seconds since 1st jan 1970 will tick over the limit of your signed 32-bit interger limit. Little while away yet though.

How can Corbyn state she is a British citizen if she has been stripped of it?  Huh?

Because there is a massive question of whether she can or indeed has been stripped of her citizenship.  You can only do it if they have dual nationality and the Bangladeshi government have denied that she has citizenship there.

The truth is its a massively complex legal question which I am not qualified to make pronouncements upon and a massive amount of people who will bang on about it on the internet are also not qualified to comment upon, but hey, we all have a right to our own opinions apparently, no matter how ill informed (Im not having a go at you here 4D, its just the general public).

Where are experts when you need them?  Oh yes, we've all had enough of them havent we.

Agreed, just to build on this, this is not, by some degree, the first case where such a similar situation has arisen and legal aid given, however in this case there are many right wing politicians and commentators who see a great opportunity to make political capital out of this and thus no doubt it will be debated to dearth in ever more inflammatory language to try and prove a political point using the girl as a pawn in a much bigger game.

Yep.  Ive already seen comments of outrage about her being granted legal aid.  My wife is a lawyer so Ill probably ask her opinion when she gets back from work rather than throwing out an ill formed opinion without asking for someone who knows stuffs opinions.

I don't like the idea of her being allowed back, but the law should always treat everybody fairly and equally. you set a dangerous precedent once you start making exceptions.

Without getting into all the legal side of things I can understand people being outraged. Big chunk of taxpayers money etc.

Big chunks of tax payers money get wasted on all sorts of shit.... Corbyn is 100% right on this. You can't have a legal system in place and then start making exceptions to it, to further the career of the Home Secretary.

I am more outraged about the £4bn+ which has been spunked up the wall on abortive no deal Brexit preparations.
